Tasting Note
Transparent ruby with violet perfume, red and black cherry, plum, licorice, anise, menthol and tobacco; taut, juicy palate with lively acidity, firm persistent tannins and mineral, savory finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Nebbiolo; spontaneous (indigenous) fermentation, extended maceration (~40 days) with submerged cap; malolactic in wood; aged ~20–24 months in French oak (François Frère, ~15% new); bottled unfined/unfiltered.

Sottimano is a family estate in Neive with ~18 ha of vineyards. Currà is a single south-facing cru (2.8 ha) planted to old vines (c.55–75 years); organically farmed since the 1970s.
