Dried rose, black cherry, licorice, tobacco and crushed stone aromas; medium-full body, vibrant acidity, ripe grippy tannins and a long saline, savory finish with spice and undergrowth notes.

Production Method
100% Nebbiolo from Cottà; hand-harvested, spontaneous fermentation, extended maceration (≈40–60 days), malolactic in wood, ~24 months élevage in French oak (limited new oak), bottled after further bottle aging.

Family-owned Sottimano in Neive farms the Cottà cru (old vines, limestone-clay soils). Organic practices since the 1970s; known for traditional, terroir-driven Barbarescos.
