Tasting Note

Bright red cherry, raspberry and dried cranberry with rose petal, forest‑floor and subtle sous‑bois. Silky texture, gentle spice and light vanilla from oak, lively acidity and a mineral undertow with a clean, slightly bitter finish.

Western: roast duck, mushroom risotto, roast chicken, pork tenderloin, soft cheeses (Brie, goat cheese). Asian: tea‑smoked duck, Peking duck, char siu, teriyaki chicken, mushroom hot pot, mildly spiced Sichuan or Cantonese pork dishes.


Production Method

Hand‑harvested Pinot Noir, wild‑yeast fermentations, minimal sulfur and no filtration. Aged 12–16 months in French oak (c.80% new) and occasional clay vessels; low‑intervention/biodynamic practices.

Family estate founded by Gao Lin and daughter Emma Gao in 2007. Silver Heights farms high‑altitude (1,100–1,300m) Ningxia sites, practicing organic/biodynamic viticulture and focusing on terroir‑driven, low‑intervention wines.
