Tasting Note

Deep chocolate-brown with amber hues. Aromas of espresso, panforte, dried dates and prunes. Palate shows dark chocolate, coffee roast, fig reduction and leather with balanced acidity and a long, indulgent finish.


Food Pairing

Western: aged blue or vintage cheddar, dark chocolate desserts, fruitcake, pecan pie, foie gras. Asian: mooncakes, sticky rice with mango, red-bean desserts, roasted/Peking duck with hoisin, rich Chinese nut-based sweets.


Production Method

Late-harvest Muscadelle briefly fermented, fortified with neutral spirit, blended from multiple vintages (average age ~32 years) and matured in oak solera/old-barrel stocks.
