Tasting Note
Ripe pear, honeyed apple and stone fruit with brioche, lemon curd and hazelnut notes. Subtle wet‑flint/mineral edge and vanilla/oak spice; satiny texture, medium‑full body and a lingering ginger-tinged finish.
Food Pairing
Western: lobster thermidor, roasted chicken, creamy pasta, seared scallops, hazelnut‑crusted pork. Asian: miso‑glazed black cod, salmon sushi/nigiri, tempura vegetables, prawn pad thai, mild Thai green curry with shrimp.
Production Method
Whole-cluster pressed; barrel-fermented (French oak) with indigenous yeasts, tailored bâtonnage; matured ~14 months in French oak (c.10% new).
Vineyard Info
Senses Wines (founded 2011 by Christopher Streiter, Max Thieriot and Myles Lawrence-Briggs) sources Russian River fruit from family and well-known sites; winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown oversees small-batch, coastal-focused production.
