Tasting Note

Perfumed red and dark berries—baked blueberries, black cherry and boysenberry—with bergamot, mossy earth and laurel. Medium–full, silky texture, fine-grained tannins, lively acidity and an earthy, savory finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast duck, mushroom risotto, grilled salmon, roast pork, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, miso‑glazed salmon, teriyaki chicken, shiitake mushroom stir‑fries.


Production Method

Hand‑harvested single‑vineyard fruit; cold soak and native-yeast fermentation; matured ~10 months in French oak (≈35% new). Small-batch vinification.

Senses (founded 2011) is a boutique Sonoma project by Christopher, Max and Myles with winemaker Thomas Rivers Brown; fruit for MCM88 comes from the famed Keefer/Perry Ranch block (single-vineyard).
