Tasting Note

Complex red and black fruit (cherry, raspberry, cassis) with violets, herbal/dill and spice; fresh, juicy palate, balsamic undertones, silky fine-grained tannins and a long, elegant finish.


Food Pairing

Grilled steak, roast lamb, braised short ribs, beef stews, aged cheeses; Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Peking duck, char siu, Sichuan-style beef, mushroom hot pot.


Production Method

Grapes harvested early March; fermented mostly in stainless steel (10% in concrete eggs); aged ~22 months in French barriques (78% new) and large Stockinger barrels; biodynamic practices in vineyard.

Seña was founded in 1995 by Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi. Located in Aconcagua Valley, it uses biodynamic principles to craft a Chilean Bordeaux-style flagship wine.
