Concentrated dark-fruit core (blackcurrant, plum) with tobacco, cedar, chocolate, espresso and graphite notes; violet and herbal nuances. Rich, layered palate with firm ripe tannins and a long, spicy finish.

Western: grilled steak, roast beef, lamb, venison, rich stews. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi/galbi), Sichuan-style beef, Peking duck, Cantonese roast pork (char siu).
Production Method
Hand-harvested estate fruit (from 2004), fermented in stainless steel with extended maceration, followed by ~18–22 months in predominantly new French oak barrels.
Vineyard Info
Seña was created by Eduardo Chadwick with Robert Mondavi in 1995; since 2004 fruit is estate-grown from the Seña Hillside vineyard, farmed biodynamically and managed for concentration and terroir expression.
