Tasting Note
Black cherry, cassis and violets framed by tobacco, baking spice and dark chocolate. Juicy acidity, savory balsamic lift, ultra-fine polished tannins and layered complexity—bright, focused and very long on the finish.
Food Pairing
Grilled/roast beef, lamb chops, game (venison), aged manchego or cheddar; Asian: Korean BBQ, char siu, Peking duck, Sichuan beef or dishes with hoisin/soy reduction.
Production Method
Organically farmed with biodynamic practices; grapes fermented mostly in stainless steel (10% in concrete eggs) and aged ~22 months in French barriques (≈78% new) with some volume in large Stockinger barrels.
Vineyard Info
Seña (Viña Seña) is the flagship estate of Eduardo Chadwick in Aconcagua, founded 1995 with Robert Mondavi; a pioneer of premium Chilean Bordeaux-style blends.
