Tasting Note

Concentrated black/blue fruit (cassis, blackberry), violets and savory herbs with cedar, tobacco and mineral notes; firm grainy tannins, bright acidity and a long, saline finish.


Food Pairing

Western: grilled ribeye, roast lamb, slow-roasted beef, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Korean BBQ (galbi/bulgogi), char siu or Peking duck, spicy Sichuan beef, teriyaki beef skewers.


Production Method

Biodynamic viticulture; hand-harvested, stainless-steel fermentation (25–31°C), varied maceration (8–30 days); aged ~22 months in French oak (≈70% new) and large foudres.


Vineyard Info

Seña launched 1995 by Eduardo Chadwick with Mondavi; 42 ha hillside estate in Aconcagua, owned by the Chadwick family and produced alongside Viña Errázuriz; biodynamic farming.
