Tasting Note

Blackcurrant, dark plum and cherry with rose petal, mint and lavender; tobacco, cracked pepper and graphite notes. Polished, fine-grained tannins, vibrant acidity, concentrated fruit and integrated oak with a long, precise finish.

Western: roast beef, grilled ribeye, lamb stew, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu/Peking duck, Sichuan-style beef, miso-glazed eggplant or mushrooms.


Production Method

Biodynamic farming; hand-harvested and sorted; varieties vinified separately (stainless steel); aged 22 months in French oak barrels (≈75% new) before blending and bottling.

Seña, founded 1995 as a joint venture between Eduardo Chadwick and Robert Mondavi, is an iconic Chilean estate producing biodynamic Bordeaux-style blends from Aconcagua vineyards. Winemaker: Francisco Baettig.
