Tasting Note

Silky dark-chocolate, espresso-bean and toasted hazelnut notes with toffee, warm baking spice and gentle oak; rich yet not cloying, with a dry, lingering cocoa finish.


Food Pairing

Western: dark chocolate mousse, tiramisu, espresso brownies, salted caramel, roasted nuts, crème brûlée, grilled pork belly. Asian: chocolate mochi or black‑sesame desserts, Thai coconut coffee sweets, Hong Shao Rou (red‑braised pork), sticky rice with mango, char siu bao.


Production Method

Blend of 5‑year aged column‑still rums matured in ex‑bourbon casks, then infused with natural Panamanian cacao; fermented using a pineapple yeast strain and finished by flavor infusion.

SelvaRey (founded 2014) produces single‑estate Panamanian rums; created with master blender Francisco “Don Pancho” Fernández. Bruno Mars is a co‑owner and creative partner.
