Tasting Note
Concentrated, slate-driven Riesling—green apple, white peach, lemon zest, wet slate and herbal notes. Vibrant high acidity, saline minerality and a long, citrus-peel finish.

Western: oysters, grilled prawns, smoked salmon, roast pork, roast chicken, creamy seafood pasta. Asian: sushi/sashimi, Vietnamese spring rolls, Thai green curry, spicy Sichuan dishes.

Production Method
Hand-harvested from Niederberg‑Helden GG sites; spontaneous fermentation on native yeasts at low temperature in vaulted cellars; unoaked, matured briefly on fine lees before bottling.

Vineyard Info
Weingut Schloss Lieser, rebuilt by Thomas and Ute Haag in the 1990s, farms ~26 ha in top Mosel steep-slope vineyards. Known for old vines, blue-slate soils, natural ferments and award-winning Rieslings.
