Tasting Note
Violet and blueberry aromatics with black cherry, plum, cedar and mocha; medium–full body, plush grainy tannins, fine acidity and a slightly peppery, persistent finish.

Production Method
Plot-based vinification; fermentation at 24–26°C, maceration 20–30 days; co-inoculated malolactic; aged ~14 months in French oak (≈15% new).

Château Gruaud-Larose is a 1855 Deuxième Cru in Saint-Julien (≈82 ha), owned by the Merlaut family; Sarget is the estate's second wine (produced since c.1979).
