Tasting Note

Concentrated blackcurrant, blackberry and plum with graphite, menthol, dark chocolate, licorice and cedar. Medium–full-bodied with focused acidity, ripe fine-grained tannins and a long mineral-tinged finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast lamb, ribeye, duck confit, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu, braised beef with soy/ginger, umami-rich Sichuan beef.


Production Method

Hand-harvested; fermented in temperature-controlled stainless-steel vats; aged ~14 months in French oak barrels (≈50% new).

Small 17-hectare Fourth Growth estate (1855); reunited by Henri Martin in 1982; owned/managed by the Triaud/Domaines Henri Martin family; vines average ~50 years.
