Tasting Note
Sweet pears, citrus and autumn flowers lead; vanilla, dry oak, sherry and orange-marmalade on the palate with hazelnut, warm spices and a subtle wisp of smoke. Long, elegant finish.

Food Pairing
Western: aged cheddar, dark chocolate, roasted lamb, glazed pork belly. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, grilled mackerel, rich Sichuan beef. Complements smoked and umami-rich dishes.

Production Method
A blended Scotch crafted from rare malt and grain whiskies each matured at least 21 years, married and finished in oak casks; presented in a sapphire-blue porcelain flagon.

Produced by Chivas Brothers; launched in 1953 as a coronation tribute to Queen Elizabeth II. Royal Salute’s home and blending vault is at Strathisla Distillery in Speyside.
