Tasting Note
Dark ruby; sweet black‑currant and licorice aromas with toasted oak and smoked herb notes. Medium-bodied, ripe and rounded fruit, silky texture and moderate tannins, finishing with gentle spice and forest‑floor nuances.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, braised beef, mushroom risotto, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), miso‑glazed eggplant or pork belly.

Production Method
Hand‑harvested, sorted, destemmed; small‑tank fermentation with soft punch‑downs; malolactic in oak; aged in French oak (significant new oak) and often bottled without filtration.

Small 7.3 ha Saint‑Émilion estate. Modernized cellar, long consulting input from Stéphane Derenoncourt. Bought by Éric Prissette in 1994; sold to Alexandra & Nicolas Robin in 2009; promoted to Grand Cru Classé in 2022.
