Honeyed nose of apricot, orange marmalade and honeysuckle with citrus and spice. Lush, viscous palate of candied citrus, dried stone fruit and toasted oak, brightened by lively acidity and a long, botrytised honeyed finish.
Food Pairing
Foie gras, blue cheese (Roquefort), fruit tarts or tarte Tatin, crème brûlée; Asian: Peking duck with hoisin, miso-glazed fish, mildly spiced Thai or Indian dishes, rich dim-sum desserts.
Production Method
Multiple selective hand-harvest passes to pick botrytised grapes; fermentation and élevage in French oak barrels (c.12–18 months); blended and bottled at the château.
