Tasting Note
Bright red cherry, mulled strawberry and wild flowers with iron/mineral undertow, sandalwood and spice. Elegant, focused, fine‑grained tannins and a long, tangy finish; bright acidity and reserved fruit in youth.

Western: roast duck, mushroom risotto, coq au vin, grilled salmon. Asian: Peking duck, miso‑glazed salmon, shiitake stir‑fry, char siu, pork & mushroom ramen.

Production Method
100% whole‑cluster fermentation (cold soak, native ferments, gentle foot‑treading), pressed to French oak and aged ~14–16 months; low percentage new oak (est. 20–25%).

Rhys Vineyards (Kevin Harvey), founded mid‑1990s. Swan Terrace is a 1.5‑acre east‑facing parcel in the Alpine Vineyard, planted to the Swan clone on chalky Purisima shale soils.
