Deep ruby; aromas of black currant, blackberry, cedar, vanilla and spice. Full-bodied, concentrated dark fruit with firm, pointed tannins, lively acidity and earthy/balsamic notes; long, elegant finish.
Food Pairing
Western: grilled or roast red meats, braised beef, game, stews, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi/galbi), Chinese red‑cooked pork or beef, Japanese teriyaki beef, spicy Sichuan beef dishes.
Production Method
Dry‑farmed, single‑vineyard Bordeaux-style blend; fermented traditionally, aged ~12 months in French oak barrels, often bottled unfiltered and cellared for a further year before release.
