Tasting Note
Elegant Volnay: red cherry, wild raspberry and rose-petal aromas with forest-floor minerality, clove and subtle smoked notes. Silky tannins, bright acidity and a long mineral finish—refined, precise and ageworthy.

Western: roast duck, coq au vin, lamb chops, mushroom risotto, soft washed-rind cheeses (Époisses, Comté). Asian: Peking duck, char siu or hoisin-glazed pork, soy-ginger duck, miso aubergine, mushroom ramen/udon.
Production Method
Hand-harvested organic fruit; substantial whole-bunch fermentation; aged ~18–24 months in large Stockinger vats and barrels (≈20% new oak); bottled unfiltered with minimal cellar intervention.

Domaine Rémi Jobard (based in Meursault). Family growers since the 16th century; Rémi took over in 1992. Certified organic since 2008; known for low yields, cordon pruning and terroir-driven, minimal-intervention wines.
