Tasting Note
Deep, evolved Sauternes: honeyed orange marmalade, dried apricot, tropical fruit and botrytis notes with caramel, toasted nuts and a long, lingering honeyed finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested in successive passes to select botrytised grapes; gentle pressing; barrel fermentation and 18–24 months ageing in French oak (40–50% new).

Château de Rayne-Vigneau, 1er Grand Cru Classé (1855), founded in the 17th century. Single 84 ha block on a gravel mound above Sauternes; owned by Trésor du Patrimoine since 2015.
