Tasting Note
Elegant Margaux showing blackcurrant, blackberry, damson plum, violet, tobacco and cedar with subtle garrigue; medium–full body, fine ripe tannins, bright acidity and a long, spicy finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast beef, lamb, venison, duck confit, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, beef bulgogi/Korean BBQ, soy‑glazed short ribs, mushroom hotpot.
Production Method
Hand‑harvested, fermented in temperature‑controlled vats; aged ~18 months in French oak (≈60% new). Yield ~40 hl/ha.

Deuxième Cru Classé (1855). Owned by the Wertheimer family (Chanel) since 1994; technical director Nicolas Audebert. Estate ~51 ha; produces Grand Vin and second wine Ségla.
