Tasting Note
Intense black-fruit compote (blackberry, blueberry) with black cherry, baking spice and balsamic notes; full-bodied, plush texture, crunchy ripe tannins and balanced acidity leading to a long savory finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, grilled beef, game, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu or Cantonese roasted pork, Sichuan-style beef, Indian tandoori lamb, Korean barbecue.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; traditional red fermentation; 50% Baga / 50% Touriga Nacional; matured c.18 months in new French oak (French barrels) and bottle-aged before release.
