Tasting Note
Deep ruby; concentrated black and red berry fruit with cassis, blackberry, dark chocolate, graphite and warm spice. Firm, velvety tannins, bright acidity and a long, persistent finish.

Western: roast beef, braised short ribs, lamb loin, venison, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi/galbi), char siu, spicy Sichuan beef, grilled yakitori-style skewers.
Production Method
Hand-harvested old-vine grapes, sorted, fermented in temperature-controlled vats; matured 16–18 months in French (majority) and American oak (significant proportion new oak). Bottled unfiltered.

Quinta do Crasto, family estate in the Douro with ~40 ha of old vines (avg ~70 years). Produces table wines and Ports; bottled under its own label since the 1990s.
