Tasting Note
Bright amber colour with pronounced aromas of honey, orange peel and delicate nuts. Excellent concentration and volume, fine-textured tannins, and a complex, long, nutty-spicy finish.

Western: Stilton, Roquefort, aged sheep cheeses, dark chocolate, crème brûlée, caramel desserts, pastéis de nata. Asian: mooncakes, red-bean desserts, sweet sticky rice, hoisin or five-spice roast duck, soy-caramel pork.
Production Method
Hand-harvested old-vine grapes are foot-trodden in lagares, fermentation is stopped with grape spirit, then aged ~18 years in 550L Portuguese oak casks; bottled without filtration.
