Tasting Note

Bright red and black fruits (redcurrant, black cherry, black raspberry) with savory tobacco, dried herbs, clove and earthy notes; medium-bodied, lively acidity, grainy tannins and a long, earthy finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast lamb, braised beef, duck confit, aged hard cheeses (cheddar, comté). Asian: Peking duck, char siu (BBQ pork), soy‑braised beef, mushroom hot pot, Korean BBQ (galbi).


Production Method

Fermented in small wood vats, malolactic in barrel; aged ~18 months in 500‑L barrels with about 50% new French oak (500L barrels introduced this vintage).
