Tasting Note
Concentrated black cherry, cassis and blueberry with violet, graphite, tobacco, espresso and dark chocolate notes; mineral undercurrent, ultra-fine racy tannins and a long, precise finish.

Food Pairing
Western: ribeye, roast lamb, beef short ribs, aged cheddar, mushroom risotto. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (galbi/bulgogi), char siu, Szechuan beef, teriyaki glazed meats.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, fermented in stainless/concrete/oak; extended élevage in large Austrian oak foudres (Stockinger) and selected barriques, bottled after long barrel aging.

Vineyard Info
Promontory is a Harlan family estate (acquired 2008); first vintage 2009. Estate focuses on low-yield, site-driven Bordeaux-style blends and long-term élevage for ageworthy wines.
