Tasting Note
Dense blackcurrant and plum framed by espresso, saddle leather, tobacco and bittersweet chocolate; crushed-rock minerality, plush texture, ripe integrated tannins and a long, persistent finish.

Food Pairing
Western: grilled ribeye, roasted lamb, braised short ribs, aged cheddar; Asian: Korean BBQ (bulgogi), Cantonese char siu, Peking duck, miso-marinated beef.

Production Method
Small-lot fermentations from multiple passes; aged ~12–18 months in French oak and further élevage in large European oak casks; blended and released several years after harvest.

Estate on Oakville's southwest ridge purchased by H. William Harlan (2008). Single flagship wine made from multiple small blocks, noted for meticulous picking and high-end, limited production.
