Tasting Note
Aromatic black cherry, plum and cassis with floral violet and mint lift; cedar, spice and polished chocolate oak. Silky texture, ripe yet fresh tannins and a long, perfumed finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, rigorous plot selection; gravity/pressure vatting, 28–30 day maceration; fermented in concrete vats and aged ~16 months in French oak (c.40% new).
Vineyard Info
Château Prieuré-Lichine, a Fourth Growth (1855) in Cantenac-Margaux; Alexis Lichine modernised the estate (purchased 1951). Estate ~77.5 ha with gravel soils and Cabernet/Merlot-dominant plantings. Owned by Groupe Ballande since 1999.
