Tasting Note
Medium–full Margaux: black cherry, cassis and plum with floral perfume, cedar, tobacco and damp-earth notes. Firm chalky tannins, integrated oak and savory spice lead to a long, focused, slightly chocolate-tinged finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, grilled ribeye, duck confit, mushroom risotto, beef stew. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese BBQ pork), soy-braised short ribs, braised beef with five-spice, mushroom stir-fry with umami sauces.
Production Method
Traditional Bordeaux vinification: plot selection, fermentations in concrete/stainless vats, élevage ~16–18 months in French oak barriques (c.50–55% new).
