Tasting Note
Fragrant, floral (lavender, rosemary) with ripe blueberry, plum and black‑cherry fruit, mineral and spice notes. Medium–full body, silky polished tannins, fine acidity and an elegant lingering finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, grilled steak, beef stew, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses. Asian: Korean BBQ or bulgogi, char siu, duck with hoisin, spicy Sichuan beef. Portuguese: roast game, piri‑piri chicken.
Production Method
Second wine of Chryseia; grapes hand‑sorted, destemmed and berry‑sorted, fermented with selected yeast (~25°C), gentle maceration and light oak ageing to be approachable young yet bottle‑ageable.
