Tasting Note
Ripe blackcurrant and morello cherry with graphite, tobacco and spice. Silky, mouth-coating tannins, fresh acidity and a mineral-salinity on the finish; medium-bodied with lingering dark-fruit persistence.

Production Method
Hand-harvested, optical sorting; gentle whole-berry fermentation with controlled extraction; ~12 months barrel ageing (≈30% new oak).

Château Poujeaux (52 ha) in Moulis-en-Médoc; Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel. Owned by Philippe Cuvelier (since 2008); produces a second wine La Salle de Poujeaux.
