Tasting Note
Medium-bodied Médoc with blackcurrant and plum, rose-petal florality, tobacco and pencil-lead notes. Fresh acidity, saline minerality, polished tannins and a persistent, focused finish.
Food Pairing
Western: braised beef, roast lamb, grilled ribeye, duck confit. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu pork, mushroom hotpot or soy-braised beef.
Production Method
Hand-harvested (Sept–Oct 2021); temperature-controlled fermentation; aged 12–16 months in French oak (≈20% new).
Vineyard Info
~60 ha estate in northern Médoc, owned by the Delon family (also owners of Léoville Las Cases). Gravelly soils and historic vine parcels focused on Cabernet and Merlot.
