Tasting Note
Bright red and black fruit (blackcurrant, cherry) with rose petal, mint, cedar, crushed stone and iron. Medium-plus body, lively acidity, fine powdery tannins and a long, mineral-driven finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, beef ribeye, duck confit, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (galbi), beef bulgogi, miso-glazed eggplant, mushroom hot pot.
Production Method
Hand and machine harvested; fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel and concrete vats; malolactic in vat; aged 14–16 months in French oak (≈20% new).

Château Potensac (53 ha, Ordonnac) is owned by the Delon family (also owners of Léoville-Las Cases). Vineyards on limestone-rich plateau; technical team shared with top estates. Produces second wine La Chapelle de Potensac.
