Tasting Note

Deep garnet with blackcurrant, plum, cedar, tobacco and violet notes. Medium–full body, ripe dark fruit, mineral undercurrent, firm powdery tannins, bright acidity and a long, precise finish.


Food Pairing

Western: roast lamb, beef stew, grilled steak, beef Wellington, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, bulgogi/Korean BBQ, Sichuan beef, mushroom hotpot.


Production Method

Hand-harvested; fermented in temperature-controlled vats; matured ~14–16 months in French oak (≈20% new), blended and bottled.

Château Potensac (Delon family) is on the Ordonnac plateau in the Médoc (Jean‑Hubert Delon). ~60ha on gravel‑clay soils; estate with long history and links to Léoville‑Las Cases.
