Tasting Note
Blackberry and raspberry with black olive, bay leaf, white pepper and clove. Floral garrigue and mineral notes; medium‑full body, fine dusty tannins, vibrant acidity and a long, spicy finish.

Western: grilled lamb chops, roast beef, charcuterie, mushroom risotto, aged cheeses. Asian: Korean BBQ, char siu/roast pork, spicy Sichuan beef, teriyaki duck, miso aubergine.
Production Method
100% whole‑bunch Syrah; submerged‑cap (first vintage using this) in concrete vats, minimal pump‑overs; aged ~12 months in ~90% foudre and ~10% concrete egg.
Vineyard Info
Single‑site estate on the Porseleinberg in the Swartland. Founded under Marc Kent and made by Callie Louw; replanted to Syrah/Grenache and celebrated as a cult South African Syrah.
