Tasting Note
Bright red and black cherry, raspberry, violet, leather and earthy herbs with saline minerality and savory spice. Supple, velvety tannins, lifted acidity, medium–full body and a long, precise finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Sangiovese; fermented in truncated cone wooden vats and cement tanks with ~1 month maceration; aged ~24 months in 30‑hl Slavonian oak ovals; minimal-intervention estate winemaking.

Estate in Castelnuovo dell'Abate, Montalcino. Acquired by Piero Palmucci in 1989 (first Brunello 1991); noted for low yields, clone selection and precise viticulture. Part of ColleMassari group since 2011.
