Tasting Note
Bright red cherry and pomegranate, floral violet and Mediterranean herb notes, with hints of leather, tobacco and spice. Vibrant acidity, silky tannins and a long, elegant finish.

Western: pappardelle al cinghiale, grilled lamb, roasted pork, mushroom risotto, aged Pecorino or Parmigiano. Asian: char siu or hoisin pork, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), yakitori, stir‑fried mushrooms, dan dan noodles.
Production Method
Hand‑harvested Sangiovese; fermentation in truncated‑cone wooden vats and cement tanks for ≥1 month; aged ~26 months in 30‑hl Slavonian oak casks; bottled March 2022.

Founded 1989 by Piero Palmucci; estate in Castelnuovo dell’Abate. Acquired by Claudio Tipa/ColleMassari in 2011. Rosso and Brunello come from same vineyards (avg. 20–25 yrs, 200–400 m asl).
