Tasting Note
Perfumed Sangiovese with wild red fruit, rose and violet florals, orange peel, tobacco, leather and savory herbs. Silky yet structured tannins, bright acidity and a very long, mineral-tinged finish.
Food Pairing
Western: Florentine steak, roasted lamb, truffle pasta, aged Pecorino and parmesan. Asian: Peking duck, char siu pork, Korean bulgogi, miso-glazed beef or braised beef with soy/hoisin.
Production Method
Hand-harvested Sangiovese; extended maceration in wooden vats and cement, frequent remontage; aged in 30hl Slavonian oak ovals (Riserva selection) before bottling.

Cult estate founded 1989; extensive clone study (182 clones) and part of ColleMassari group since 2011, focused on low-yield, single-vineyard expression.
