Tasting Note
Bright red and black cherry, violet florals, wild herbs and crushed stone, with tobacco, coffee and leather from oak; lively acidity, silky yet firm tannins, saline minerality and a long, vertical finish.

Production Method
Fermented in truncated-cone wooden vats and cement tanks with extended maceration and frequent pump-overs; aged 36 months in 30‑hl Slavonian oak ovals; bottled May 2023.

Founded in 1989 by Piero Palmucci; now owned by the Tipa/ColleMassari group. Estate vineyards in Castelnuovo dell'Abate use many Sangiovese biotypes and organic/biodynamic practices.
