Tasting Note
Dense ruby with mentholated, balsamic nose: sour cherry, blackberry, bergamot, carob and incense. Palate shows ripe dark fruit, precise acidity, fine/firm tannins and a saline, long finish.

Production Method
Hand-harvested Nero d’Avola; destemmed/crushed; extended maceration (~28–35 days); malolactic fermentation in stainless steel; aged ~14 months in French (Allier) oak barriques (≈15% new). Organic/SOStain practices.

Planeta is a multi-estate Sicilian family producer (family estates since 1995, older family history). Santa Cecilia is made at the Buonivini estate in Noto, using organic/SOStain protocols.
