Tasting Note
Bright ruby with cherry and strawberry aromas, pomegranate and wild raspberry, plus exotic spices. Fresh, sapid palate with fine-grained tannins, peppery and slightly savory notes, vivid red-fruit drive and a medium–long, savory finish.

Food Pairing
Western: seared/grilled tuna, tomato-based pasta, pizza Margherita, roasted chicken, lamb skewers, mushroom risotto, medium-aged cheeses. Asian: tuna tataki, teriyaki chicken, yakitori, grilled miso aubergine, milder Sichuan dishes, char siu with steamed rice.

Production Method
Organic farming (SOStain®). Hand and machine harvest; destemmed, fermented 7–8 days in stainless steel; 13–15 days skin contact; malolactic in steel; aged primarily in stainless steel; bottled the following summer.

Vineyard Info
Planeta is a family-owned Sicilian estate (modern project begun 1995) with vineyards across Sicily. This Cerasuolo is from the Dorilli/Mogli sites near Vittoria, farmed organically under Planeta's SOStain® protocol.
