Tasting Note
Concentrated northern-Rhône Syrah: steeped black cherry and dark plum with licorice, smoked meat, white pepper and violet florals. Full, round palate with smoky mineral backnote, black pepper spice and a long, savory finish.

Hand-harvested old-vine fruit; fermentations with a high proportion (~60%+) whole clusters; maceration on skins; élevage up to 24 months in a mix of large barrels and 500L demi-muids; minimal intervention.

Domaine Pierre-Jean Villa (est. 2008–09) farms ~20 ha across the Northern Rhône. Tildé is a small-production old-vine cuvée from four parcels (planted 1963–1970) around Sarras (c.1 ha; ~3,000 bottles).
