Tasting Note
Perfumed blackcurrant, violet and graphite aromatics; layered black fruits, cedar, cocoa and saline minerality. Medium‑full, silky texture with refined powdery tannins, bright acidity and a long, savory finish.

Food Pairing
Western: roast ribeye, leg of lamb, venison, beef stew, aged hard cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean bulgogi, mild Szechuan beef, mushroom hotpot; pairs well with umami-rich sauces.

Production Method
Hand-harvested; fermented in temperature-controlled vats with gravity-flow steps; aged ~18 months in French oak (≈60% new); small proportion of press wine blended.

Historic Deuxième Cru of Pauillac (estate ~85–102 ha). Modernized under Louis Roederer (owner since 2007); winemaking led by Nicolas Glumineau and team.
