Tasting Note
Fresh red cherry and raspberry with floral (rose) perfume, subtle vanilla spice, silky fine tannins and mineral undercurrent. Elegant, poised and medium-bodied with a refined, lingering finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast duck, lamb, mushroom risotto, beef filet, charcuterie, soft cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, miso-glazed salmon, teriyaki chicken, shiitake and soy braised pork, Cantonese roast pork (char siu).
Production Method
Hand-harvested Pinot Noir, destemmed, indigenous yeast fermentation, extended maceration and 12–18 months in French oak (moderate new oak). Lightly prepared and typically bottled unfiltered.

Domaine Philippe Bouzereau — a Meursault family estate (nine generations) farming c.18 ha; sustainable viticulture and transition to organic since 2015. Philippe took over management in 2006.
