Tasting Note

Ripe black cherry, plum and blackberry with floral perfume, subtle vanilla/oak and tobacco, earthy gravel notes; medium-plus body, soft ripe tannins and a spicy, slightly savory finish.

Western: roast lamb, grilled ribeye, beef stew, mushroom risotto, aged cheddar. Asian: Peking duck, char siu, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), braised beef with soy and ginger, Sichuan-style beef.


Production Method

Hand-harvested Merlot and Cabernet Franc; fermented in temperature-controlled vats; aged about 12 months in French oak barrels; traditional Saint-Émilion vinification.
