Tasting Note
Intense crimson with blackcurrant, baked black cherries, dark chocolate, licorice and toasted oak; medium-full body, fresh acidity and polished, satin tannins finishing long with spice and herbal notes.
Food Pairing
Western: roasted lamb, beef ribeye/steak, roasted game, duck confit. Asian: Peking duck, Korean BBQ (bulgogi), char siu, beef rendang, shiitake mushroom hot pot.
Production Method
Grapes hand-picked (small baskets), fermented in oak vats, matured ~20–22 months in French oak barriques (significant new oak). Traditional vinification mirroring the Grand Vin.

Second wine of Château Mouton Rothschild, made from younger selected vines of the First Growth estate; first released as Petit Mouton in 1994, produced with the château’s winemaking methods.
