Tasting Note
Perfumed blackcurrant and blackberry with plum and violet notes, cedar and subtle vanilla from oak. Medium-bodied, fresh acidity, fine powdery tannins and a saline, lingering finish.
Food Pairing
Western: roast lamb, filet mignon, duck confit, aged cheeses. Asian: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese BBQ pork), beef stir-fry with black bean sauce, Korean BBQ (bulgogi).
Production Method
Fermented and aged 12 months in French (Bordeaux) barrels, c.30% new oak; regular racking and topping-up during élevage. (Estate cuvée from St-Julien holdings).

Le Petit Ducru is the second/estate cuvée of Château Ducru‑Beaucaillou (Borie family); derived from vineyards formerly called Lalande‑Borie, acquired in 1972. Positioned as an approachable introduction to the Ducru style.
