Tasting Note

Perfumed red and black fruit (blueberry, cherry), violet and rose petal notes, cedar, black tea, and mineral/graphite undertones; medium‑full, fresh acidity, velvety yet firm tannins and a long, savory finish.


Food Pairing

Roast lamb, duck breast, grilled sirloin or aged beef, game birds; Asian: Peking duck, char siu (Cantonese barbecue pork), beef bulgogi, braised soy‑braised short ribs, shiitake mushroom hotpot.


Production Method

Selected lots vinified with ~4 weeks maceration in stainless tanks, followed by ~18 months in French oak (approx. 50% new for 2020). Second-label selection from Château Cheval Blanc parcels.
